Derived from the formula L = D - R*SQRT(T/273.15), where D is the distance of the sensor from the bed, R the raw measurement of sensor distance from the surface, and T the absolute temperature. D was measured to be 1375mm when the station was installed, but a new measurement in late November 2012 found it to be 1339mm. ---ALT--- Προκύπτει από τον τύπο L = D - R*SQRT(T/273.15), όπου D το ύψος του αισθητήρα από την κοίτη, R η πρωτογενής μέτρηση ύψους αισθητήρα από την επιφάνεια, και T η απόλυτη θερμοκρασία. Το D μετρήθηκε σε 1375mm κατά την εγκατάσταση του σταθμού και σε 1339mm στα τέλη Νοεμβρίου 2012.
